AI Decoded (aidecodedbrief.com) is a free weekly newsletter and content site. This policy explains what personal information is collected, how it is used, and what your rights are.

What we collect

One thing: your email address.

When you subscribe, we collect your email address. That is the only personal information we collect. We do not collect your name, location, payment information, or any other personal data.

We also collect aggregate, anonymous analytics data through Vercel Analytics. This includes page views and referrer information. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not fingerprint individual users. No personally identifiable information is tied to analytics data.

How we use it

Only to send the newsletter.

Your email address is used solely to send you the weekly AI Decoded newsletter. We do not sell your email address. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use it to target you with advertising.

Third-party processors

Services that handle your data on our behalf.

Resend (resend.com) — We use Resend to store subscriber email addresses and deliver the newsletter. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by a Data Processing Agreement. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Vercel (vercel.com) — The site is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may process request logs that include IP addresses in the course of serving web traffic. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Data retention

Your data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your email address is retained in our Resend audience for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is marked as unsubscribed. You can request permanent deletion by emailing us at the address below.

Your rights

Access, correction, and deletion.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at hello@aidecodedbrief.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR including the right to access your data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The legal basis for processing your email address is your consent, given when you subscribed.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information).

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies.

The site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies. No consent banner is required because no consent-requiring cookies are set.

Changes to this policy

We will notify subscribers of material changes.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will note the change in the next newsletter issue. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
